Founder’s Message

While serving as Director of Insurance & Risk Management for Ocean County New Jersey, I was introduced to the value of motion analysis as a clinical tool for evaluating and resolving challenging work-related injuries. The results were amazing and led me to realize this technology would one day become a new standard of medical care.

In 2003, after much prayer and reflection, it became clear that I needed to make a full time commitment to building a commercial business in order to provide greater access to this valuable functional imaging technology. Having experienced first hand many lives changed and how medical case management is enhanced - the BioMotion story began.

Reflecting on the children with significant movement disorders and their families who we  help; injured employees safely returning to work, physicians who we serve by providing critical diagnostic information to make a difference in patient outcomes or helping runners run without pain – encourages our team to remain focused on accomplishing our goal of making a significant contribution to improving our healthcare system.

Every entreprenuer knows the path to success requires the support on many people - clients, partners, investors and vendors. The journey is steep and difficult requiring patience, persistence and perseverance - and then a significant tragedy occurred.

On the morning of January 24, 2006 our family changed forever when my niece Jennifer Kesse was abducted in Orlando.    A 24 yearJennifer Kesse Abducted Orlando January 24, 2006 old professional full of life preparing to go to work like any other business day, just vanished without a trace. Security film at the location her car was found revealed a person of interest who drove her car. The months that followed are surreal as I think of the concern of not knowing where, how or what happened and the frustration over countless dead ends. Unfortunately to date, all efforts to find her have been unsuccessful, but we remain hopeful that miracles do happen. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Our family has so much to be thankful for - our hearts were touched by the overwhelming support from the community of Orlando – residents, media and businesses who assisted a family they did not know. In fact, people from across our state, as well as visitors from other states and abroad who were visiting and heard about Jennifer volunteered time to assist efforts to find her. And the support continues to this day.

With a broken spirit and a sense of helplessness, I began to pray boldly to God. He answered and out of this tragic situation He brought about good – when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior on April 10, 2006. Since that day He has patiently and lovingly transformed me into a better husband, father, friend and businessman - I am eternally thankful for the mercy and grace He has shown me.

I remain thankful for this business opportunity He placed in my heart, for listening when called and making the commitment to go forward by faith. BioMotion exists today through His grace, inspiration and continued provision.

My wife Debbie's support has been unbelievable and the hardships have grown us together in ways we could not have expected, but for which we are grateful.

It is my prayer that the patients we serve will recognize His use of our hands and expertise to assist Him in improving the quality of their lives.
